Cookies only with your explicit consent
By default our site writes no cookie to your browser. We count visitors with Umami, cookie-free and hosted on our own server; because that measurement uses no cookies and stores no personal data, it needs no consent. Alongside it we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how our pages are used.
Google Analytics runs in two modes, and your choice decides which. Unless you consent it stays in COOKIELESS mode: no cookie is written to your browser, no identifier that recognises you is created, and your visit is measured only as an anonymous number. If you choose “Accept” on the banner shown on your first visit, it switches to the cookie mode: the two cookies below are created and your visits become linkable to each other.
Let us be plain: even in cookieless mode a page-view signal is sent to Google, and that signal contains your IP address (truncated on Google’s side). So we do not claim “nothing reaches Google unless you consent” — that claim would not be true. What does not happen without consent is a cookie being written to your browser and your visits being linked together. Advertising and personalisation signals are off even if you do consent; measurement data is not used for advertising.
| Cookie | Source | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 | Anonymous identifier distinguishing a visitor | 2 years |
| _ga_<measurement-id> | Google Analytics 4 | Holds session state and visit count | 2 years |
The panel (app.bildirim.io) writes no cookies and runs no analytics code.
Local storage keys in use
| Key | Where | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| pb_access | Panel | Session access token — keeps you signed in | Until you sign out (the token refreshes every 15 minutes) |
| pb_refresh | Panel | Session refresh token | Until you sign out (30 days at most) |
| pb_theme | Site and panel | Your light/dark theme preference | Until you change it |
| pb_destek | Site and panel | The id of the support conversation you opened — so you can see the reply in the same window | Until you choose “New topic” or clear browser data |
| bildirim_lang | Site and panel | The interface language you chose (tr/en) | Until you change it |
| bildirim_lang_auto | Marketing site | The language guessed from your country — so we need not ask again on every visit | 7 days |
| pb_consent | Marketing site | Your answer to analytics cookies (accept/decline) — so the banner does not keep asking | Until you change it |
These exist so the service works and your preferences are remembered; none of them serve tracking, profiling or advertising. That is why they need no explicit consent — pb_consent is itself the record of your consent.
Withdrawing your consent
Withdrawing consent has to be as easy as giving it. You can change your choice at any time with the buttons below; when you choose “Withdraw”, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted from your browser and measurement returns to cookieless mode.
Google Analytics data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC; this is a transfer abroad. For detail see the Sub-Processors and Data Residency pages.
SDK and service worker
The Bildirim SDK added to our customers’ sites uses the browser’s Push API and Service Worker infrastructure to manage the notification subscription. The subscription record that infrastructure holds is managed by the browser itself; when a user withdraws notification permission in site settings, the subscription becomes invalid and delivery stops.
Your control
You can clear local storage from your browser settings; that signs you out of the panel and resets your theme and language preferences. Notification permission can be withdrawn from the settings of the site concerned.
